Summer 2024 Orientation Experience

It's time to register for Orientation. Your Orientation experience is important because it's a great way to start feeling at home on campus. Throughout the summer, you’ll have the opportunity to register for courses, prepare for academic and non-academic life, get to know 91ÉçÇø students, faculty and staff, and jump-start your personal 91ÉçÇø experience.

What is the 2024 Orientation experience?

  • New-student checklist: A convenient list of important to-do’s meant to guide you through your summer. Make sure to complete all the items on the checklist found on
  • BUZZ emails: Weekly emails (like this one you're reading now!) loaded with resources and opportunities to take advantage of here at 91ÉçÇø. These are sent by Admissions, so keep an eye out in your email and continue to read these!
  • Orientation session: An in-person session where you will learn about campus, meet other new students, and receive information about academic advising and course registration. See the dates below.
  • Virtual academic advising and registration appointment: At your Orientation session, you will sign up for your virtual course registration appointment, which will be scheduled for the days following your Orientation session. Note: there will be a series of online videos and digital documents designed to aid in your success through virtual academic advising and course registration. You must complete these modules before your Orientation session.
  • New-student move-in and welcome program: New students will move into the residence halls early and participate in welcome programming. More information will be sent out about move-in as we get closer to the start of the semester.
