Biography
Kait Stewart has a BA in history from Stephen F. Austin State University and an MS in geography from the University of North Texas. She is currently completing a PhD in geography at West Virginia University. As a feminist and community geographer, she explores how refugees and migrants navigate the process of making 鈥渉ome鈥 in a new place and the complex connections among refugees, the state, and their host communities.
