Department of Mathematics and Statistics

Mentoring Statement

Nhan Nguyen helps students become confident, independent learners through open communication, thoughtful guidance, and encouragement.

Biography

Nhan Nguyen uses methods from probability and mathematical analysis to study random polynomials and stochastic processes. He is particularly interested in understanding the number and distribution of their real zeros. His teaching emphasizes conceptual understanding, rigorous reasoning, and effective problem-solving.
