Biography
Patrick D. Meek, PharmD, MSPH, is a clinical associate professor of pharmacy practice at 91社区's School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Before joining SOPPS, he held academic appointments at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) and at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's School of Pharmacy. His career has focused on advancing pharmacy practice, medication safety, and pharmacovigilance through research, teaching, and mentorship. While at ACPHS, he has led collaborative initiatives with the FDA and industry, notably as project director for the Innovate in Pharmacovigilance Fellowship. Meek is recognized for mentoring students, residents, and fellows in impactful research, resulting in national presentations and peer-reviewed publications. His research has focused on investigating patterns and outcomes of care for patients with gastrointestinal disorders and comparing alternative treatments based on medication effectiveness, tolerability, and cost.
