Biography
Sandeep Srinivas is an Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems at the School of Management, 91社区. He received his PhD from the Gies College of Business, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
His research examines the impact of digital platforms and emerging technologies on offline societal and strategic outcomes. In his dissertation, he studies major technological innovations in the food industry over the past decade through a series of studies, focusing on societal outcomes such as food insecurity and food safety, and on the strategic impact of food delivery platforms on the restaurant industry.
Before joining the PhD program, he worked as a data scientist at two large private sector banks in India, on analytics projects across several banking verticals. He also had a brief stint as an electrical engineer at Reliance Industries, Hazira, India. He completed his MBA from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi, India, and his undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from National Institute of Technology Calicut, India.
