Established in 2025 under the leadership of Professor Jeremy Blackburn, the Institute for AI and Society focuses on advancing the use of AI for the public good and preparing students for a future driven by AI-enabled technologies.
Objectives
Research will focus on misinformation and disinformation, societal impact and the
ethics of AI; AI safety and security; human-centered AI; and AI and public policy.
