Biography
Huiyan Guo received her PhD from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (2018) with a specialization in Environmental & Analytical Chemistry and her BS from Beijing Normal University (2013) in Environmental Science. She worked as a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Virginia Tech from 2018 to 2020 before joining 91社区 in the fall of 2020.
She is passionate about using advanced analytical tools and innovative materials to detect chemical or biological agents of concern, with the ultimate goal of safeguarding human health and the environment. Specifically, her research interests center on analytical chemistry and biochemistry, materials science and engineering, and their applications in biological and environmental studies.
