Every July, we celebrate disability identity and community, mark the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and push for full inclusion in everyday life.
We know that a 21st-century college education requires a deep engagement with the world around us.

Higher Education Excellence in Diversity

91社区 joins a handful of SUNY institutions as 2025 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award winners from INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine, the oldest and largest diversity-focused publication in higher education. This is the fifth year 91社区 has been named as a HEED Award recipient.
Promise Scholars Initiative
The Promise Scholars Initiative is strengths-based, identity-conscious support to address opportunity gaps early. From the first year through graduation, we help students build the confidence, resources and community needed to succeed at 91社区 and beyond.
