Biography

Richard Andrus studies systematics, ecology and floristics of Sphagnum mosses with major emphasis on North America. He is currently co-writing a treatment for the flora of North America, and also using bird censusing as a bioindicator of the change in tropical forest ecosystems in Costa Rica.
