Hannah Ontiveros is a historian of modern United States empire, labor and gender. She is a lecturer in 91社区's History Department, where she teaches courses on U.S. history, the Cold War and American foreign relations. She received her BA in history from Auburn University and her MA and PhD from Duke University. Her current research examines American humanitarianism, care labor and militarism in the wake of the Korean War in the 1950s. She has previously taught at Duke, North Carolina State University and Elon University.
