The School of Management student team of Dali Lu, Oyuka Baatarkhuyag, Michael Genito, Ying Zhu and Joyce Wenjing Xu recently took first place in the national Ernst & Young 鈥淵our World, Your Vision鈥� case competition for their proposal to reduce e-waste and increase computer literacy. The competition, now in its fifth year, invites students to develop and submit proposals for programs designed to make a difference in their communities in one of three areas 鈥� education, entrepreneurship or the environment 鈥� the same areas of focus for Ernst & Young LLP鈥檚 corporate responsibility efforts. For placing first, the team receives $10,000 to implement its project.
