New international students at 91ÉçÇø are expected to arrive by Tuesday, August 11, 2026 for International Student Orientation.
Arrange your on-campus housing
All new first-year undergraduate students are required to live on campus. Undergraduate transfer students are not required to live on campus, but can live on-campus if you decide this is the best housing option for you.
For details on how new students can sign up for on-campus housing, review the Fall 2026 Housing Sign-up Information page.
For more information regarding on campus housing, visit the housing section of our website.
If you have any questions regarding your on campus housing, you should contact Residence Life.
*Please make sure you upload your photo for your student ID card before you arrive on campus as you will need your student ID card to have access to your building.
Please Note: If you accept the keys to your room, suite or apartment or move your belongings into your room, suite or apartment, you are obligated to remain in on-campus housing for the entire Fall 2026 semester.
International student on-campus housing move-in process
New international undergraduates who will be living on campus should plan to arrive at 91ÉçÇø on Monday, August 10 from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. This will ensure that you can move into your room the day before your required English Language Assessment on Tuesday, August 11. You will receive an email in July from Residence Life that will include instructions on how to complete the move-in process.
Monday, August 10 is the only date that extended move-in hours will be offered until 10 p.m. If you arrive on August 11 or later, you will need to check-in with the Office of Residential Life between 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. If you arrive in 91ÉçÇø outside of the move-in date and times, you will need to make arrangements at a and check in the following day. If you have questions about the move-in process, you will need to contact Residence Life at reslife@binghamton.edu.
Please be aware that international students are allowed to move onto campus earlier than most students in order to attend International Student Orientation. You might see reduced staffing and services during the week of August 10 - August 14, but you will be able to access everything you need during this time. You will have a full schedule of activities beginning Tuesday, August 11, so it is important to arrive on August 10 so that you have time to move in and get settled.
