Pre-arrival Orientation Videos
Please be sure to watch the pre-arrival orientation videos on . Scroll down the page to the 鈥淢y Courses鈥 section and click on the 鈥91社区 International Orientation鈥 link. The videos are posted in the 鈥淐ontent鈥 section of the course. You need to watch these videos before the ISSS programming on Wednesday, August 12.
Check in with ISSS and Get Your Welcome Gift!
Be sure to complete the to complete your required ISSS check-in. If you live off campus you must also complete the . If you live on campus, you need to complete the . ISSS also has a welcome gift for all new students.

- If you haven鈥檛 visited the ISSS office in person yet, be sure to visit the Old Champlain Atrium on Wednesday, August 12 between 8:30-9:45 am to pick up your gift.
- If you have already picked up your welcome gift at the ISSS office, we look forward to seeing you at the first event on Wednesday at 10:00 am. You can view the detailed orientation schedule on our website.
Please note that Watters Theater, the venue for our first event, does not allow food or drinks other than water.

English Language Skills Written Exam
Tuesday, August 11 | 9:00AM-11:00AM | Lecture Hall, Room 002 (LH 002).
The English Language Skills Written Exam for Fall 2026 is scheduled for Tuesday, August 11 from 9AM - 11AM in Lecture Hall, Room 002 (LH 002). All new international undergraduate students should arrive on Monday, August 10. If you are unable to take the exam on August 11, please contact eli@binghamton.edu for make-up instructions. Students who take the make-up exam may face delays in registering for classes.
English Language Skills Speaking Exam
Tuesday, August 11 | 1:00PM-3:00PM | Old Champlain, Room 101 (OH 101)
The English Language Skills Speaking Exam for Fall 2026 is scheduled for Tuesday, August 11 from 1PM - 3PM in Old Champlain, Room 101 (OH 101). You will receive a time ticket after completing the written exam, which will tell you when to arrive at OH 101. Please contact eli@binghamton.edu with any questions.
International Student Orientation

The Fall 2026 International Student Orientation will include a combination of pre-arrival videos and programs that you can attend in-person on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. New Student Programs Orientation
Thursday, August 13 | 8:00AM- 4:00PM | Old Union Hall, University Union
All new first-year and transfer international undergraduate students are required to attend the New Student Programs Orientation.
