Biography

Pratik Misra researches the relatively new area of algebraic statistics, in which concepts from algebra and combinatorics are used to address challenges in statistical and causal inference. He works on graphical models to answer algebraic questions, such as obtaining the model's defining equations, and statistical questions, such as structural and parameter identifiability.
