Lorri Walmsley, RPh, FAzPA, is a senior pharmacy executive with more than 30 years of experience in community pharmacy, regulatory affairs, and healthcare leadership. She currently serves as vice president of pharmacy affairs at Walgreens, where she leads national regulatory strategy, oversees Board of Pharmacy relationships, and guides the interpretation and implementation of state and federal legislation impacting pharmacy practice.

Recognized for her expertise in public policy, legislative advocacy, and operational leadership, Walmsley has played a key role in advancing innovative pharmacy models and shaping regulatory frameworks nationwide. She also serves on the Executive Committee of the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), representing District 8, contributing to national policy and governance in pharmacy regulation.

Deeply committed to developing the future of the profession, Walmsley serves as the leader of Walgreens’ portfolio of postgraduate education programs and maintains strong partnerships with colleges of pharmacy and professional organizations. She previously served as president of the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy and held numerous leadership roles within national and state organizations, including as past president of the Arizona Pharmacy Association.

Her contributions to the profession have been widely recognized, including honors such as the 2026 Bowl of Hygeia and Arizona Pharmacist of the Year.

Walmsley is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and remains actively engaged in advancing patient care, pharmacy innovation, and regulatory excellence across the healthcare landscape.
