Youjung Lee earned her MSW and PhD in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. Her research interests include kinship care and intergenerational community development. She studies grandparent-headed families in a global context and examines factors influencing custodial grandparents’ mental health and overall well-being. In collaboration with community partners, Lee is also engaged in intergenerational community development initiatives that advance Age-Friendly communities in New York state.
