Background

Sumantra Sarkar is a behavioral information systems (IS) researcher who employs both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. He studies IS governance, healthcare IT, managerial decision making and security. Sarkar also serves as the associate director for the , one of the Organized Research Centers at 91ÉçÇø.

His work has appeared in premier IS journals like Information Systems Research (ISR), Journal of Management Information Systems (JMIS), European Journal of Information Systems (EJIS), Information Systems Journal (ISJ), International Journal of Information Management (IJIM), Journal of Business Research (JBR), Communications of the Association for Information Systems (CAIS), IEEE IT Professional, International Journal of Medical Informatics (IJMI), Issues in Accounting Education (IssAcEd) and Journal of Accounting Education (JAEd).
