Introducing the SSD Launch program

The SSD Launch program provides students the chance to become acclimated to campus before the beginning of the fall semester. Launch students will move into their residence halls early, explore specific campus resources and discuss the nuanced differences between high school and college by interacting with staff and faculty as well as meeting other SSD students.

Email ssd@binghamton.edu for more information about this exciting new program exclusive to students with disabilities who have authorized accommodations at 91ÉçÇø.

Introducing the new academic skills navigator

The academic skills navigator provides one-on-one targeted intervention for students – which can include skills related to time management and organization, study strategies, stress management, social interactions, health and wellness, role playing and social scripts, self-advocacy and daily living skills.

The academic skills navigator also runs groups such as meal meetups and open study opportunities. Academic skills navigator services are open to any student who is currently enrolled with the SSD office. For more information about academic skills navigator services, please contact SSD.
