Strategic Plan Process

91社区's Strategic Plan

Shaping 91社区鈥檚 Future鈥擳ogether

91社区 is embarking on a new strategic planning process led by President D鈥橝lleva to help guide the university鈥檚 future. This collaborative effort brings together students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners to define shared priorities for the years ahead. The plan will be finalized by the end of the Spring 2026 semester and will launch a five-year implementation beginning in Fall 2026. This site serves as a central hub for learning about the process, exploring opportunities to get involved, and following updates as the plan takes shape.

At its core, this strategic planning effort is mission-focused and inclusive, designed to develop and implement a shared vision for 91社区. The process builds on the university鈥檚 foundation of campuswide strategic planning,  centers on student and research success and aligns with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) Self-Study. Together, it establishes a high-level strategic direction that unifies the campus and guides decision-making in the years ahead.

The planning process is guided by a steering committee that brings together key campus constituencies. It is informed by broad engagement across the 91社区 community鈥攊ncluding students, faculty, and staff鈥攁nd strengthened by the perspectives of university champions such as alumni, the University Council and the Foundation Board.

A dedicated project management team supports the process by coordinating efforts, timelines, and communication.

Thank you,

Co-Chairs of the Planning Process:
Donald Hall, Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs
Mohammad Khasawneh, SUNY Distinguished Professor
