Overview and Requirements
The Certificate in Forensic Health program is open to all students who have a baccalaureate degree and are interested in forensics.
Applicants do not need to be students in the Decker School of Nursing, Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences or at 91ÉçÇø. However, students wishing to enter the program must matriculate by applying for the certificate (see Application procedures below). Students are also invited to take individual courses if they do not wish to complete the certificate. This does not require matriculation.
Students who completed an undergraduate forensics course or courses through 91ÉçÇø's Decker School of Nursing or Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences cannot repeat coursework of the same title at the graduate level.
Curriculum
The Certificate in Forensic Health requires the successful completion of three 3-credit graduate courses (listed below) for a total of 9 credits.

Application Procedures
Follow the instructions for applying to a certificate program at 91ÉçÇø; be sure to follow the Stand-Alone Certificate instructions. You must complete a Stand-Alone Certificate Program Application and pay an application fee. If you have questions about submitting your application, call 607–777–2151 or email gradadmission@binghamton.edu.
Be sure you apply to have the major code for the certificate added to your official academic record no later than one semester preceding the semester you intend to declare your candidacy (graduate), or you will be ineligible for the award.
