Master Adaptive Learner

The Master Adaptive Learner framework is used by faculty in 91社区's Division of Physical Therapy.

The framework teaches future physical therapists the skills needed to succeed in healthcare and promotes lifelong learning. Future clinicians must continually learn, adjust and innovate as new information and best practices evolve.

The Master Adaptive Learner framework is based on a metacognitive approach, which involves thinking about one鈥檚 thinking; it is the awareness and understanding of one鈥檚 thought process.

Using competency-based education as its foundation, the Division of Physical Therapy uses various instructional methods throughout the curriculum to develop characteristics of the Master Adaptive Learner.
