Support Earth Sciences
The Department has a long history of preparing undergraduate and graduate students for careers in the Earth Sciences. Your contributions provide critical support to our faculty, facilities, and students.
- Geology Fund (10796) - Supports the overall academic and research mission of the Department.
- Herman Roberson Memorial Award (11034) – Awarded to an outstanding graduating Environmental Studies senior who has completed the Environmental Law class.
- Roux Scholarship in Geology (11087) – Established by the generosity of Roux Associates, Inc. and Sin Senh (BS ’97, MS ’05) to support a full-time MS student with preference given to those studying in the fields of hydrogeology, geochemistry, or environmental geology.
- Helen and Wendelin Bernhard Memorial Fund (20640) – To support students majoring in Geological Sciences based on academic merit and financial need.
- Dr. Marie Morisawa Memorial Scholarship (20617) – Awarded to a full-time, female graduate student with preference to a student studying in the field of geomorphology.
- Bartle Professorship (20898) – Funds are used to support field experiences, visiting distinguished professors, or other critical needs of the Department.
- Donald R. Coates Geology Scholarship (21445) – Awarded to an Earth Sciences major who has a dedication and persistence for Earth surface processes.
- Laurie (B.S. '68) and David (Ph.D. '72) Thomas Field Trip Endowment (21565) – To support field trips and excursions focused on geological sciences organized by faculty and students in the Department of Earth Sciences.
