Why ICD?
Our staff tell us that they joined ICD for the training and high standards of service that are part of our mission and values and they stay because of the students and co-workers that make our center a truly amazing place. The Research Foundation for SUNY, which acts as the employer of record for staff at ICD, has a menu of fantastic benefits that employees of ICD are eligible for. Separately, ICD has many internal benefits, including access to experts in autism and associated neurodevelopmental profiles as well as a variety of training supports, including funding for position-related training, career advancement, and conference attendance.

Featured ICD Internal Employment Benefit - Special Education Summer Seminars
During the summer months (June-August), we offer a specialized summer training series for all of our team members that provides access to critical topics in special education taught by experts in clinical psychology and neuropsychology, behavioral health, speech-language pathology, and more! These trainings can provide a better understanding of how to be an effective partner in the special education system and to align with evidence-based standards to truly effect change and growth for the students.
