- Kopernik Observatory & Science Center Tour
- Join us for an engaging behind-the-scenes tour of Kopernik Observatory & Science Center
and discover the fascinating world of astronomy and science education.
- Led by KOSC Director Drew Deskur, participants will learn about the observatory's history, mission, and unique facilities. Weather and conditions permitting, a solar filter can be installed on one of the observatory's telescopes, allowing participants to safely observe the sun.
- Accessible restrooms are available on-site. Most of the tour takes place on the ground
floor; however, access to the telescope domes requires climbing stairs to reach the
telescopes. Participants should be comfortable navigating several flights of stairs
if they wish to visit the domes.
