360 Evaluation Program

Background of the Program

In response to the feedback received from our members requesting additional supervisory training, PSS conducted a thorough review of available training options and have collectively chosen the SUNY 360 Evaluation Program as a robust leadership skills inventory program that is specifically designed for higher education professionals.

Benefits of the Program

The goal of this program is to provide participants with a skills assessment of their leadership competencies and how others perceive them. This is  an opportunity to receive authentic feedback and expert help with digesting that feedback and incorporating it in a continuous improvement plan. The idea inherent in this approach is that the best always strive to be better. With that mindset, evaluation isn't a once a year activity, but an ongoing process of periodic assessment that informs performance, adjustments, growth, and continuous improvement.

The process includes:

  1. Complete an initial evaluation (self-assessment)
  2. Attend an orientation session (SUNY System) - February 23 at 12:30p.m.
  3. Attend a debriefing session from a leadership fellow support (SUNY System) - March 31 at 12:30p.m. (tentative)
  4. Attend 1-2 professional development opportunities
