The session will begin with an introduction toÌýMazda and its workplace culture, followed by an inside look at data analytics at Mazda. Members of Mazda’s data teams will showcase current projects and discuss how they use tools and technologies such asÌýPower BI and DatabricksÌýto support dashboard development, safety analytics, data operations, data engineering, privacy, governance, and more.

Students will then hear directly from a panel of Mazda professionals about theirÌýeducational backgrounds, career paths, and experiences working in data-focused roles. Panelists will share advice on developing technical and professional skills, gaining relevant experience, preparing for the job search, and standing out as an early-career candidate.

The event will conclude with an interactive Q&A, giving students the opportunity to ask questions about careers in data analytics, emerging technologies and AI, career readiness, and life at Mazda.

What: The subject is quantum computing, but the talk is not a technical one. Mr. Vargas works on the commercial side of the field. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science and a J.D., and he leads how universities, national laboratories, and industry across the Americas adopt the technology.

Students interested in business development, emerging technology strategy, or law and policy should find as much in it as students in physics or math.

Robert Spiro is Counsel and Senior Vice President at Lazard Asset Management, primarily advising on the legal, regulatory, and governance aspects of registered investment funds, including exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Before joining Lazard, his legal practice included fund formation, product development, SEC compliance, and board governance. Earlier in his career, he worked as a CPA auditing investment funds and financial services companies. He earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Accounting from 91ÉçÇø and his law degree from NYU School of Law. He is admitted to practice both law and public accountancy in New York.

Morgan, he advises corporate clients and private equity firms on structuring and executing leveraged loans, high-yield bonds, and other financing transactions that support acquisitions, recapitalizations, and strategic growth initiatives. Throughout his career, Todd has executed nearly 500 transactions, helping clients raise close toÌý$500 billionÌýin capital across a wide range of industries.

Todd spent more than a decade in London helping establish J.P. Morgan as the leading leveraged finance platform in Europe while also playing a key role in expanding the firms cross-border financing capabilities and pioneering ESG-linked leveraged finance transactions. He returned to New York in 2021 and continues to lead complex financing solutions for clients around the world.

Before transitioning into mental health counseling, Clifford founded and led The Phoenix Group, an e-learning and corporate training company that partnered with Fortune 500 organizations, including Xerox, Canon, Johnson & Johnson, and Discovery Networks. He later founded The Streamcast Network, helping organizations leverage live video and digital media to grow their brands.

Deborah has extensive experience in financial leadership across the nonprofit, arts, media, and public accounting sectors. Prior to joining the American Technion Society, she held finance leadership positions at the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, HBO, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
