The Watson Career and Alumni Connections (WCAC) Office is collaborating with the International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) Office to bring experienced immigration attorney, Crystal Malik, from the Immigration Practice Group of the McCandlish Holton law firm to speak to our students once again this Spring 2026 semester!
In this virtual session, Crystal will explain the most common work visa options for international students to stay and work in the US after graduation, including F-1 Optional Practical Training, the H1B visa, and alternatives to the H1B for those who qualify. She will also address issues regarding permanent resident green cards, discuss new governmental policies impacting international students, and will answer individual attendees' questions.
McCandlish Holton works with companies and universities across the United States, processing thousands of work visas and green card applications each year. They also regularly work with university career services offices, providing career services professionals and international students with helpful information and materials regarding the US immigration process.
Attend this informative 1.5 hour session, with 30 minutes reserved for questions. Following the session, the WCAC Office will provide supplemental materials and resources to assist attendees with their job search.
All international students and alumni are welcome and encouraged to attend!
