Our individual and small group training options are designed to help you get started on your fitness journey or take your training to the next level.

Personal training services are available to everyone, including, faculty, staff and the public, with no fitness membership required. All 91ÉçÇø students receive a 20% discount on personal training services!

Our trainers

Our personal trainers are certified through the nationally accredited American Council on Exercise (ACE). 91ÉçÇø Campus Recreation partners with ACE to provide top-tier education for our student trainers, ensuring they are highly trained and credentialed fitness professionals.

Only trainers employed by Campus Recreational Services may train clients in the Recreation Center. Violating this policy may result in loss of facility access for both the trainer and clients.

Our services

All personal training sessions include a free consultation and fitness assessment. Assessments will be determined according to clients' individual health and fitness goals.

One-on-one personal training

All sessions are 60 minutes and take place within FitSpace, the pool or surrounding activity areas (track, Fitness Court, etc.).

All initial package purchases include a dedicated fitness consultation and assessment during your first session to tailor the program to your goals.

Small group training

Small group training offers an affordable and enjoyable way for 2-3 people with similar goals to work out together. The exercise program is customized to meet the needs of all participants.

All initial group package purchases include a fitness consultation and assessment during your first session to tailor the program to your group's goals.

What to expect as a new client

  1. Complete your intake form: After purchasing a training package, the Campus Rec team will email you with an initial intake form. You'll share information about your fitness goals, interests, experience level, and scheduling preferences so we can match you with the trainer who best fits your needs.

  2. Trainer matching: After reviewing your intake form and confirming no medical clearance is needed, we’ll connect you with your certified personal trainer. 

  3. Consultation and assessment: Your trainer will contact you, typically within 24–48 hours, to schedule your initial consultation and fitness assessment. This appointment helps your trainer better understand your goals and design a personalized program for you.

  4. Begin training: After your consultation and assessment, you'll schedule your first training session and begin working toward your goals with the guidance and support of your trainer.

Policies

Cancellation policy: If you need to cancel an appointment, please contact your trainer directly at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in the session being forfeited.

Late policy: Trainers wait 15 minutes into the session for you to arrive. If you do not contact the trainer or Campus Recreation staff within that time, the trainer may reschedule, though it is not required. Late arrivals will still end at the originally scheduled time.

Group training cancellation policy: If one participant cancels within 24 hours of a scheduled group session or fails to show, the session may still proceed with the remaining participant(s). The session will count towards the package balance for all participants.

Expiration policy: All services must be completed within one (1) calendar year of the service purchase.

Refund policy: Refund requests must be made in person. Full refunds are available only within the first 7 days of membership. After that, refunds are considered for medical reasons or withdrawal from 91ÉçÇø, with proof required. If services have been used within the first 7 days, refunds will be prorated. A $20 processing fee applies to all refunds.
