Consider speaking at the NYS College & University Emergency Management Workshop. The Call for Presentations for this year's workshop is open and all proposals with a focus on higher education emergency management programs are welcome.  Presentation proposals may be submitted

January 2026

The NYS College & University Emergency Management Workshop committee is planning this January's event at 91社区.  

This Call for Presentations is your invitation to submit presentation proposals for this year鈥檚 event.  Proposals should be focused on emergency management topics your peers could learn from.  Case studies of real-world experiences are strongly encouraged.

Length of Presentations

Timeslots at this year's workshop will include Ted Talk style (15-min), traditional (30- or 45-min), and keynote (90-min) presentations. 

Presentation Topics

There is no limit to presentation proposals, as long as they address emergency management issues in higher education settings. Potential topics include real-world case studies, plan development, continuity of operations, response strategies, training & exercises, and any other related topic.
