Consistent with policies of The State University of New York, 91社区 participated in the 2025 University-wide Biennial SUNY Uniform Campus Climate Survey. The survey gathered information about student and employee experience with sexual and interpersonal violence and knowledge of policies and resources.
The survey was sent to 18,077 students and 3,172 employees. 974 students and 588 employees responded to the survey, for response rates of 5.4 percent and 18.5 percent, respectively.
In the survey, 24 percent of female students (151 students), 4 percent of male students (15 students), and 35 percent of Gender Non-Binary students (12 students) reported that they were subject to sexual harassment in the prior year. Sixteen percent of female students (102 students), 5% of male students (18 students), and 12% Gender Non-Binary students (4 students) reported that they were subject to sexual assault in the prior year. Eighty-three percent of students indicated familiarity with affirmative consent, 67.6 percent indicated that they knew how to report, and 47 percent indicated they knew how to find the Title IX Coordinator.
91社区, working with community colleagues (including students, faculty, and staff), will use these data to improve response to violence, develop prevention programs, and will continue to study the issue.
The Climate Survey will be administered again in the Spring Semester of 2027. More information about the Survey is available at .
